Beloved Students
I welcome you all to our college, comprising a vibrant learning community.We believe that education is a journey from darkness to light. Thus we pray:“Asatoma Sadgamaya, Tamaso ma Jyotirgamaya...”
Extra-ordinary teachers, a sophisticated, enriched library, modern laboratories with all instruments and equipments, and above all, a congenial atmosphere have transformed our college into a “College with a difference.” However, we believe that we have “miles to go before (we) sleep”.
It is your duty to fulfil the dream of Swamiji, who put emphasis on “manmaking and character-building education.” This requires devotion and dedication and a determined effort to realize the vision of our trustee members who want to see in you dynamic and caring citizens who will meet all challenges.
You must not forget that even after 70 years of independence, many are living in abject poverty. Swamiji inspired us by his fiery utterances, “May I be born again and again and suffer thousands of miseries so that I may worship the only God that exists, the only God I believe in – the sum total of all souls.”
I have firm faith that with your immense potentialities, you can prove to the world that you are properly educated in the truest sense of the term.
