Guidelines for Authors

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

1. Topics should not be unrelated to the subject matter of economics.
2. Articles and research papers must be typed in Times New Roman with a font size of 11.
3. All articles (with an abstract within 200 words and keywords with a word doc) should be submitted to the Editor, ECOSMIC, The Heritage College, Kolkata at mail id: economics@thc.edu.in
4. The articles should be written either in English, Hindi or Bengali.
5. Author’s details should be provided separately and author’s identity should not be disclosed either in the text or in the abstract.
6. Matter intended for footnotes should be indicated consecutively in the text by superscript numbers and it should be entered serially at the end of the manuscript. Bibliographical references should be given in full in alphabetical order, after the endnotes. Citations in the text must be read thus (Chatterjee, 2011) or (Samuelson, 1972) etc. References in the bibliography should be in the form: 1. Chatterjee, R.K (2011) -An Enquiry into the Lost World, followed by the name of the publisher and place of publication.
7. One must follow the general formats for both articles and research papers.The word limits should not be exceeded.
8. Plagiarism of any kind is strictly prohibited and will lead to rejection of the entry.
